Glade is a top-down adventure game about discovering a small woodland clearing, uncovering its little secrets, and moving on. You play as a traveller who stumbles into the glade whilst on a longer journey of their own. A nostalgic love letter to 16-bit adventure games and the restorative power of nature.

This demo was developed as a student personal project at Falmouth University.

the stump puzzle has me stumped, lil hint maybe?
try paying attention to the layout of the stumps - you can always check the hints you've found in the curiosities menu as well. thank you for playing glade!
I know that, but I don't know for how long I should head in each direction, I've tried going until hitting a stump but that's lead me nowhere, I'm not even really sure which stump is referred to since it doesn't feel like the rightmost.
saying much more might give away the solution, but i'll say you don't need to worry about the player's position too much until the end of the sequence - just focus on the stumps. best of luck cracking it!
